Wysiwyg 3D Pty Ltd: Australia’s Laser Scanning Specialists
Based in NSW, Wysiwyg 3D was founded in 2003 by Owner Operator Shane Rolton. Shane first came across laser scanning whilst working as a Mechanical Engineer in the Aerospace industry where laser scanning was used for first article inspections and reporting. After quickly realising the benefits of laser scanning it wasn’t long before Wysiwyg 3D Pty Ltd was born.
Wysiwyg 3D soon outgrew the garage and the home office with it's many toys and now resides in Peakhurst South of Sydney.
Since then Wysiwyg 3D has grown beyond the aerospace applications and now services the automotive, manufacturing, mining, dental, entertainment, cultural heritage and more.
Having been at the forefront of the Laser Scanning Industry now for over 10 years Shane has certainly seen the industry grow and of course change. Scanners have become smaller, lighter and now come from all parts of the globe able to deal with any sized object.
