Comparing finished manufactured parts and the tools that make them to the original 3D CAD model is a growing requirement. WYSIWYG 3D provides an independent 3D scanning service to compare real parts to CAD models.

With the complex shapes of current parts 3D scanning using lasers is an effective way of measuring the dimensional accuracy of a part.

WYSIWYG 3D has specialised software that compares 3D scan data to your original CAD file. Scanning can be done onsite during your pre-production trials to provide immediate feedback.

Inspection reports can be quickly generated showing what deviations there are from the correct geometry and where those deviations are. Reports can be graphical and produced as standard Word documents.

Inspection scanning can assist manufacturers in determining the best processing variables, such as temperature and cycle times, to make a part.
