Cyber Scanning the cast for the blockbuster movie CGI animation
Filmed in 2013 in Melbourne Australia. I, Frankenstein used Cyber scanning for Visual Effects.
Using portable laser scanning technology the Wysiwyg 3D engineers were able to quickly and easily setup in the studio or on location only requiring limited space. Our engineers were able to 3d scan both the extras and hero’s in varying degrees of costume including prosthetic masks and hair. High resolution 3d scanning captured the fine details of the masks, hair and hands including veins and nails.
Files were then processed back in the office ready to send to the VFX houses in industry standard formats.
